Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of experience serving the Spokane community. We provide evidence-based treatment to adults, youth, and seniors facing various behavioral health challenges. As a Trauma-Informed Care Organization, we are dedicated to fostering recovery and empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives. We are seeking individuals who want to make a positive impact. FBH values its employees and their contributions to our mission. Our behavioral health services significantly benefit the community's health, safety, and quality of life. We offer a diverse range of client services, including outpatient, inpatient, community outreach, crisis services, and partnerships with schools and law enforcement. Our services are evidence-based, culturally appropriate, and trauma-informed, addressing the diverse needs of our clients. The Youth and Adult Services (YAS) program aims to improve or reduce symptoms and resolve situational disturbances for clients in relational, occupational, and/or vocational areas. Services are provided by Mental Health Professionals (MHPs) with specialized training. Treatment is a voluntary, collaborative partnership with the client and may involve family or others at the client's request. Services are tailored to the client's age, strengths, and cultural framework. Examples include Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy, Peer Support Services, and Child and Family Services. The Mental Health Engagement Specialist (MHES) supports clients by collaborating with Peer Support Specialists, Mental Health Care Providers, and Mental Health Clinicians. MHES may manage a caseload of approximately 30 clients, providing clinical behavioral health services across various life domains (health, education, employment, social/family, cultural, recreation, spirituality/religion, and housing). These services are delivered using a client-centered, trauma-informed approach, aligned with the clinician and recovery models, to help clients achieve their goals. Services are available to individuals of all ages in virtual, office, or community-based settings and include areas such as sleep hygiene, mindfulness, emotional regulation, psychoeducation, referrals, coping strategies, behavioral activation, communication skills, administering mental health measures, care coordination, and crisis intervention. MHES also provides backup for unplanned client needs and manages incoming clients and orientations. Assistance includes engagement, supportive listening, psychoeducation, skill-building, crisis assessment and intervention, resource education, referral, and short-term follow-up.
