Key Position Details: Schedule: .75 FTE Evening shift 10-hour shifts Shift choice of 2pm - midnight OR 3p - 1am (weekdays) and 1p-11p (every other weekend) $3750 retention bonus + 30 hours frontloaded PTO

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health profession
  • 2+ years experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker - MN Board of Social Work required upon hire or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist - MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy required upon hire or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy required upon hire or Licensed Psychologist-MN Board of Psychology required upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Direct clinical experience in a hospital, mental health, or clinic setting
  • 1 year crisis management skills in hospital, clinic, or managed care setting

Responsibilities

  • Consult with the emergency department team to deliver rapid clinical assessments and disposition recommendations for individuals presenting in mental health or substance use crises.
  • Provide written level‑of‑care recommendations and coordinate placement, treatment planning, and referrals to ensure timely and appropriate follow‑up.
  • Apply organizational admission criteria to determine appropriate levels of care and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams and community partners to support safe, effective care transitions.
