About The Position

The Bradley Center is excited to announce that our Outpatient Program is growing. We provide therapy as well as psychiatric and med management services to children, adults, and families. School-Based Mental Health Services are provided to students in several school districts in Allegheny and surrounding counties. We are looking for confident professionals to provide help to students in need of social emotional skills related to mental health needs. The location of services will take place in the identified school district. This position works closely with school district personnel including teachers, school counselors and special education coordinators.

Requirements

Master’s degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline required
Completion of a clinical practicum required
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or other human services related fields may be considered
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

Valid Pennsylvania counseling license (inclusive of LCSW, LMFT, LPC or psychologist) preferred
NCC or LSW preferred
Strong interpersonal skills

Initiative

Responsibilities

Works in collaboration with school personnel to assess and implement interventions that meet the needs of the student body
Organizes and facilitates therapeutic support based on topics that meet the needs of students
Attends and participates in Outpatient Services clinical and team meetings
Creates a safe space for students to manage and regulate their feelings and behaviors
Provides crisis support during school hours
Facilitates the development and implementation of a wellness, crisis and/or relapse prevention plan
Collaborates with school personnel related to student behavior
May be asked to attend or participate in educational meetings
Provides individual and/or group therapy
