The Georgia Community Action Treatment (CAT) program is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to serve regions 1 and 2. This program offers a safe and effective alternative for children experiencing behavioral health crises, aiming to equip families with the skills and support needed for sustained improvement. The CAT program's goals include strengthening family support systems for youth and young adults to promote community living, reducing out-of-home placements (like psychiatric hospitalizations and DJJ involvement), improving family and youth functioning, decreasing substance use, facilitating transitions to age-appropriate services, and increasing overall health and wellness.
