About The Position

Liberty Resources is a dynamic and growing human services agency focused on providing high quality, integrated, community-based services. The Mobile Crisis Team is a trained multidisciplinary response team that delivers crisis intervention services in various settings, including community locations where individuals live, work, attend school, engage in services, or socialize. These services encompass culturally and linguistically competent assessments, development of crisis diversion, safety, or relapse prevention plans, support during and after a crisis, and coordination with and referrals to health, social, and other services, including peer/family support. The team's goals are to divert unnecessary hospitalizations and arrests, facilitate engagement in services, reduce symptoms, achieve stabilization, restore individuals to previous levels of functioning, and develop coping mechanisms to prevent future crises. The Mobile Crisis Team serves Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, and Oswego counties. The Mobile Crisis Clinician (Licensed Responder) works alongside Mobile Crisis Specialists and Peers, primarily conducting clinical assessments and providing crisis intervention services. The clinician responds to individuals in crisis telephonically, in-person, or via telehealth as needed, and may provide additional follow-up services based on the level of need. This is a per diem position with flexible scheduling options.
