Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
• One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
• Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required.
• A valid California Driver’s License and compliance with Agency driving eligibility criteria.

Nice To Haves

• Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical services to youth, adolescents, and families by assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with the treatment team.
• Facilitates treatment meetings, provides individual, family, and group therapy, and delivers services in homes, schools, community settings, and the office.
• Assists with crisis intervention, case management, and connecting clients to resources while maintaining accurate and timely documentation, reports, and outcome measures in compliance with agency requirements.
