Mental Health Clinician

This role has the primary responsibility for assessing the immediate and ongoing needs of adults and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team. Provides individual, family, and group therapy services using trauma-informed and client-centered approaches. Facilitates treatment team meetings, supports crisis intervention, and helps connect clients and families with appropriate resources and services. Delivers services in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, community locations, and the office, and participates in an on-call rotation to provide support during crises. The population served is adults, 18 plus, in outpatient community-based services and support throughout Fresno County. Services include individual counseling, medication management, housing, education, and vocational support.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Active registration with the California BBS as an Associate (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) for Mental Health Specialist II.
- Active California licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC for Mental Health Specialist III.
- At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting (relevant student internship or practicum hours count toward this requirement).
- A valid California Driver’s License and compliance with Agency driving eligibility criteria.
