This position is within the Administration Branch of the Health and Human Services Agency, specifically within the Quality Management Program. This position is not a direct clinical services position. In the non-direct clinical service setting, under general supervision, to provide clinical and administrative functions that support the documentation and delivery of high-quality treatment services to seriously emotionally disturbed adults and children, conduct internal and external chart auditing, service utilization review, medication monitoring, maintaining documentation standards and communicating standards to clinical staff, monitoring activities to ensure quality of service delivery and compliance with the Mental Health Plan contract, training, Medi-Cal site certification, researching and interpreting and applying federal, state and local regulations governing the provision of these services; and to do related work as assigned. Mental Health Clinician II applicants should have the education/experience necessary to provide professional rehabilitative, case management, counseling, and medically necessary treatment services to seriously emotionally disturbed adults and children; and to perform related work as assigned.
