Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking qualified Mental Health Clinical Faculty (part-time) for its Bachelors of Science in Nursing program in Tulsa, OK. This role involves onsite teaching in a clinical setting with one of Chamberlain's clinical partners. The typical schedule includes 12-hour rotations, often from 7 AM to 7 PM, for three to four consecutive days. The Mental-Health Nursing course focuses on an individual's ability to function in society, covering topics such as anxiety, self-concept, thought disorders, mood alterations, addictive behaviors, organic brain dysfunction, abuse and violence issues, and health promotion/wellness. It also incorporates therapeutic communication, individual and group therapy practices, and community mental-health resources.
