Greater Norwalk Head Start / Early Head Start, a program of the Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc., is seeking a full-time Mental Health and Disabilities Services Professional. This role is responsible for ensuring programs meet 100% of related Federal Performance Standards. This includes providing services to children with mental health concerns and behavior issues and their families, developing and monitoring children's IEP or IFSP progress, collaborating closely with the management team and teaching staff, and offering parent education on a group or individual basis for children with special needs. The position also involves providing classroom support for children with mental health needs and IEP supports. Key responsibilities include leading annual developmental screenings (e.g., ASQ) and coordinating services with Birth-to-Three and Norwalk Public Schools to ensure successful push-in and child busing services.
