The Mental Health and Behavioral Professional will develop and implement programs and services to remediate behavioral and social problems for adult persons served. This role involves designing and implementing systems to support individuals with challenging behaviors, participating as a team member to enhance quality of life and independence, and reviewing behavioral staff reports and plans. The professional will also serve on an interdisciplinary team, assisting primary health care providers, collecting and reporting data, developing staff training, attending meetings, and helping to secure community resources. Frequent observation of individuals, staff, and the environment is also a key part of the role.
