About The Position

The Men’s Basketball Fellow will serve as a full-time employee of Mississippi State Basketball while learning under the guidance of the Head Coach and staff. This is a non-coaching position. Salary Grade : 09 Please see Staff Compensation Structure for salary ranges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• SportsCode & Synergy knowledge required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates sensitivity.
• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a collegiate men’s basketball program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the staff with film breakdown and opponent scouting.
• Chart, analyze, and distribute daily statistics from practice to the coaching staff.
• Chart statistics as they pertain to the offense and defense.
• Assist with game preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.
