Memory Care Support Partner $18-22.75 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Castlewood. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $18 per hour and involves creating a supportive and engaging environment for residents in our memory care neighborhoods. The role emphasizes empathy, patient observation, and creating a positive daily experience for residents, from waking to sleep. Responsibilities include documenting resident care, assisting with team member orientation, and ensuring the physical environment is conducive to resident well-being.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
- Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
- Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
- Document resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
