About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Memory Care Support Partner. This part-time role focuses on creating human connections with residents, understanding their unique interests and abilities, and implementing engagement plans. The position involves setting the stage for a successful day for residents, assisting with all facets of daily life, and documenting resident care. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have strong communication skills in English. Computer skills are necessary for documentation and printing. This role requires an active individual capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to assist residents with mobility and after falls is essential, and candidates must be criminally cleared. Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
  • Set the stage for a successful day for residents, from preparing dining rooms to setting up for events and preparing resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
