About The Position

We are looking for someone to join our team at Vitalia N Royalton as a Memory Care Support Partner. This full-time role involves creating human connection with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments. You will partner with residents throughout their daily lives, document resident care and changes in condition, and assist with orienting new team members to the memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments such as dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
