About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Carriage Court in Hilliard, OH. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating meaningful connections with residents, particularly during their vulnerable moments. The role emphasizes empathy, active engagement, and a proactive approach to assisting residents with their daily living activities. We are looking for individuals who are at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, and have a positive, energetic attitude. Computer skills are necessary for documentation and information entry. The role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Assisting residents with mobility and after falls is also a key responsibility. Candidates must be criminally cleared.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Invest in your work, team members, and the community to create an inclusive and positive environment.
  • Be curious, ask questions, and engage in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Assist persons after a fall.
