About The Position

Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities that offer varying levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care in 34 properties currently in 6 states (Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Arkansas) and employs nearly 2,200 employees! This full-time position is located at Vitalia Senior Residences at Westlake in Westlake, Ohio, with a starting wage of $18.00-$24.75 per hour. The shift schedule is 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, alternating weekly between Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday and Monday/Saturday/Sunday.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Observe residents to discover their interests, abilities, and what makes them unique, then collaborate to create and implement appropriate engagement plans.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, event spaces, and resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
