About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Stow. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, understanding their unique needs, and assisting them throughout their daily lives. You will be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, documenting resident care, and orienting new team members. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on residents' quality of life in a home-like environment.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Understand the importance of empathy.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up for events and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
