About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Homemaker to join our team at Vitalia Mentor. This part-time role focuses on creating a welcoming, comfortable, and tidy environment for residents in our memory care neighborhood. You will be responsible for preparing and serving meals family-style, ensuring residents have access to snacks and hydration, and engaging residents in meaningful activities. This is an opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the quality of life for our residents.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas.
Prepare and serve family-style dining, involving residents in setting tables and cleaning up.
Ensure residents are offered snacks and hydration three times a day.
Engage residents and provide meaningful experiences as extra hands in the Neighborhood.
