About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Princeton in Lee's Summit, MO. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for various activities. You will partner with residents throughout their daily lives, document their care and condition changes, and assist with orienting new team members in memory care neighborhoods. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, patient, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments (e.g., dining room, library, resident rooms).
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
