Memory Care Support Partner 10pm-6am $18.50-28 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Madison located at 14001 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64145. This full-time position operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role involves creating human connections with residents, understanding their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and managing the physical environment to enhance the resident experience. You will partner with residents throughout their daily lives, document care, and assist with orienting new team members in memory care neighborhoods.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
- Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
- Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
- Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
