Memory Care Support Partner 7pm-7am $18-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Solon. This full-time position involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding residents' unique needs, interests, and abilities to develop and implement personalized engagement plans. A key aspect of this role is managing the 'mise en scène,' which involves preparing the environment to ensure a successful and positive experience for residents throughout their day, from dining to activities and personal routines. You will also partner with residents in all facets of their daily lives and be responsible for documenting resident care and changes in condition. Additionally, you will assist with orienting new team members to the memory care neighborhoods.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about residents.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
- Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing the environment, including dining areas, libraries for events, and resident rooms for nighttime routines.
- Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
- Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
