About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Solon. This role is crucial in creating a supportive and engaging environment for residents in our memory care neighborhoods. As a Memory Care Support Partner, you will be an advocate of empathy, a patient observer, a master of the mise en scène, and a life partner to our residents, ensuring their well-being and quality of life from morning to night. You will also be responsible for documenting resident care, assisting with team member orientation, and maintaining a positive and safe environment.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing the environment, such as dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
