About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Charles in St Charles, MO. This full-time role focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment for residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be an advocate of empathy, a patient observer, a master of mise en scène (setting the stage for the resident's experience), and a life partner to our residents, assisting them through all facets of their daily lives. This role requires excellent documentation of resident care and changes in condition, as well as assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, including preparing dining rooms, setting up for events, and preparing resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
