About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Charles. This full-time position involves creating human connections with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for a successful day. You will partner with residents throughout their daily lives, document their care, and assist with orienting new team members in memory care neighborhoods. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, and have a positive, energetic attitude. Computer skills are necessary for documentation and printing. This role requires active participation, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and in case of falls. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active; role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Understand the importance of empathy.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for meals, events, and resident routines.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
