About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Peters. This full-time position involves creating human connections with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and managing the environment to ensure a successful day for residents. The role also includes partnering with residents throughout their daily lives, documenting care, and assisting with team member orientation. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, patient, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Observe residents’ interests, abilities, and unique characteristics to collaborate on and implement appropriate engagement plans and strategies with patience.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, setting up for events, and preparing resident rooms for their nighttime routine.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
