About The Position

Holland Farms Senior Living, an Agemark Senior Living community, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Manager to lead their memory care team and support residents living with cognitive challenges. The role involves leading and developing a team, overseeing resident care with a focus on the Best Friends™ Approach to Alzheimer’s care, partnering with families, ensuring compliance with care plans and regulations, and supporting departmental operations.

Requirements

Current Iowa LPN license.
Ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate a team.
Genuine passion for supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, and healthcare providers.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and provide additional support when needed.

Nice To Haves

Two years of related experience is preferred, preferably working with seniors or individuals with memory loss.

Responsibilities

Lead, recruit, train, coach, and support team members while creating a positive and compassionate environment.
Ensure residents receive personalized, high-quality care that supports their individual needs and abilities.
Use the Best Friends™ Approach to Alzheimer’s care to create meaningful connections and positive experiences for residents.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, providers, and team members.
Oversee care plans, documentation, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
Help manage departmental needs, budgets, outreach, and the overall success of the memory care neighborhood.
