About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Director to join our team at The Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa, Missouri. This full-time position offers a salary range of $47,840 - $68,640 annually, with up to $4,000 in performance-based bonuses. The Memory Care Director will be responsible for ensuring the Memory Care team embraces the core values of Arrow Senior Living, maintaining a spirit of hospitality and professionalism. This role involves implementing and managing Memory Care programs to promote the well-being of residents with dementia diagnoses, as well as assembling and managing the personalized care needs of residents and the expectations of their families. Requirements

• High school diploma, or general education degree (degree in a related field is preferred).
• Minimum of two years’ experience and knowledge of theories and practices related to the care of persons living with dementia or in a related field with transferable knowledge and skills.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about residents.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be comfortable working primarily indoors, but may be required to work outside for events, transportation, or assisting residents to and from vehicles.
• Must be criminally cleared.

• Leadership experience as a Director in a specialized dementia program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Memory Care team members embrace the responsibility of anticipating the needs of residents and maintaining a spirit of hospitality and professionalism in accordance with Arrow Senior Living core values.
• Ensure adherence to community standards, policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations when selecting, onboarding, and providing ongoing training for team members.
• Implement and manage Memory Care programs and services to promote and maintain the highest practicable level of physical, social, and psychological wellbeing for residents living with dementia diagnoses.
• Assemble, catalog, and manage the personalized care needs of memory care neighborhood residents as well as the requests and expectations of family members.
