Memory Care Director - Full Time
About The Position
Join a Growing Senior Care Organization on Cape Cod The Terraces Orleans is a locally owned and operated skilled nursing facility committed to delivering exceptional care, compassion, and service to residents and families throughout Cape Cod. We are also excited to announce the opening of Legacy Care Memory Care Assisted Living, our newly developed memory care community anticipated to open in Fall 2026 (Pending Age Certification). Legacy Care at The Terraces is seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Director to lead our new Memory Care neighborhood opening in Fall 2026. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Memory Care operations, including dementia-specific programming, resident care planning, staff supervision, family communication, regulatory compliance, and resident safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting
- Experience in dementia care and memory support programming
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- CPR certification required
- Completion of required dementia training or ability to obtain
Responsibilities
- Oversee Memory Care operations and therapeutic programming
- Responsible, in conjunction with the Resident Care Director, for the initial development of all memory care programming
- Supervise, train, and develop staff
- Ensure compliance with EOEA/AGE and state regulations
- Promote resident safety and person-centered care
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
