Memory Care Director - Full Time
About The Position
The Terraces Orleans is seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Director to lead their new Memory Care neighborhood, Legacy Care, opening in Fall 2026. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Memory Care operations, including dementia-specific programming, resident care planning, staff supervision, family communication, regulatory compliance, and resident safety. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of senior care in the community while contributing to the successful launch of a new memory care program designed to enhance the lives of residents and their families.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting
- Experience in dementia care and memory support programming
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- CPR certification required
- Completion of required dementia training or ability to obtain
Responsibilities
- Oversee Memory Care operations and therapeutic programming
- Responsible, in conjunction with the Resident Care Director, for the initial development of all memory care programming
- Supervise, train, and develop staff
- Ensure compliance with EOEA/AGE and state regulations
- Promote resident safety and person-centered care
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
