About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Server for The Blake at Kingsport. The role serves residents and guests in a senior living community, providing gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience. The Server may assist in the bar and coffee shop, help with meal preparation when requested, maintain stock, and support special events and activities. The position requires a caring, service-oriented approach and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
ServSafe certification if applicable under state requirements.
Food server or hospitality experience required.
Willingness to work with older adults in a senior living environment and prepare food that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekends, and pre-planned special events.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with staff and residents.

Nice To Haves

Bar Card, if applicable under state requirements.
Knowledge of a POS system.

Responsibilities

Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
Assist in the bar and coffee shop as scheduled.
Guide guests through menus and demonstrate knowledge of food and beverages.
Maintain or exceed appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas.
Take accurate orders and coordinate with team members to provide organized, prompt service.
Set and reset tables according to company standards.
Assist with meal preparation when requested.
Help maintain stock levels for the bar, coffee shop, and front of house.
Assist with special events and activities as requested.
