About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a full-time Server for The Blake at Kingsport. The company provides senior living residences and describes its mission as promoting residents’ wellness, security, longevity, family, joy, and self-worth. The Server helps provide residents and guests with gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience, supports the bar and coffee shop as scheduled, and assists with meal preparation, stocking, and special events as requested. The posted salary is $14.00–$14.50.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Food server or hospitality experience.
A caring attitude and willingness to serve others.
Willingness to work with older adults in a senior living environment and prepare food that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekends, and pre-planned special events.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents.
ServSafe certification if applicable under state requirements.

Nice To Haves

Bar Card, if applicable under state requirements.
Knowledge of a POS system.

Responsibilities

Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
Assist in the bar and coffee shop as scheduled.
Guide guests through menus and demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
Maintain or exceed appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas.
Take accurate orders and coordinate with team members to deliver food promptly and in an organized manner.
Set and reset tables according to company standards.
Assist with meal preparation when requested.
Help maintain stock levels for the bar, coffee shop, and front of house.
Assist with special events and activities as requested.
