About The Position

Allegro Parkland, a prestigious senior living community in South Florida, is seeking a passionate and experienced Memory Care Coordinator to lead their Ensemble Care (Memory Care) neighborhood. This role is for a compassionate leader who understands the importance of every moment for residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia, and believes exceptional Memory Care starts with exceptional leadership. The coordinator will oversee daily operations, programming, and care within the Memory Care neighborhood, leading and developing a dedicated team committed to person-centered, dementia-informed care. They will develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborate with families and healthcare professionals, oversee medication administration, and plan meaningful life enrichment programs. The coordinator will also monitor resident well-being, serve as the primary contact for residents and families, and participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation.

Requirements

  • Med Tech certification — required
  • CPR/First Aid certification — required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of Memory Care or dementia care experience — required

Nice To Haves

  • CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) — preferred
  • Prior supervisory or coordinator experience in a senior living setting — strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and person-centered care principles
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills
  • Genuine passion for serving residents and families navigating memory loss

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, programming, and care within our Ensemble Care Memory Care neighborhood
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated Memory Care team committed to person-centered, dementia-informed care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that honor each resident's unique story, abilities, and preferences
  • Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional resident outcomes
  • Oversee accurate medication administration in compliance with physician orders and care plans
  • Plan and oversee meaningful life enrichment programming that promotes dignity, joy, and connection
  • Monitor resident well-being and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Memory Care residents and their families
  • Participate in MOD rotation as assigned
