About The Position
Moravian Village of Bethlehem is looking for an experienced FT 11am-7p Memory Care Coordinator to play a crucial role in enhancing the overall happiness and satisfaction of community members by fostering an environment that promotes lifelong learning, social interaction, and personal growth. Their work significantly contributes to the well-being of residents, making each day meaningful and enjoyable.
Requirements
- HS diploma, degree, and/or work experience in social work, therapy, or related field.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Weekend/Holiday availability is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience within a senior living or healthcare setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Organize special events, outings, and intergenerational programs that promote social interaction and community engagement.
- Participate resident council meetings to gather feedback and incorporate suggestions into the activity calendar, ensuring that programs meet the evolving needs of the community.
- Assist the Life Enrichment office in the transport of residents within our community.
- Facilitate feeding the residents at mealtimes under the direction of the Memory Care Supervisor.
