About The Position

Sunburst Memorials is hiring a Memorial Installer to prepare, transport, and install memorials throughout the St. Cloud, Minnesota area. The role involves planning routes, coordinating installation details, preparing foundations, and safely operating a company truck and truck-mounted crane. The installer coordinates with the sales team, cemetery sextons, customers, and other partners, updates completed installations in the company system, responds to calls and emails, maintains precast inventory, and assists with unloading deliveries. The position also includes inspecting memorials, making repairs as needed, and performing or coordinating preventative maintenance and required DOT inspections for the company vehicle.

This is a hands-on role performed both indoors and outdoors. Work may include driving between installation sites, working in cemeteries, operating equipment, handling memorials, and coordinating with customers and community partners. The role is physically active, with regular lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, and extended periods of standing. Duties vary by season, with additional projects and responsibilities during the winter and off-season.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one before the start date.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated approach and ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to read a level and tape measure.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a truck-mounted crane.

Nice To Haves

• Previous memorial installation or setting experience.
• Previous experience operating a truck-mounted crane.
• Experience in construction, landscaping, delivery, or another hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily routes and coordinate installation details.
