About The Position

This is an entry-level position in the branch network, supporting AAA members with membership and insurance services. The Membership Specialist receives training on AAA products and services to assist members confidently and contribute to individual and team cross-selling goals. The role provides opportunities for advancement through skills-based pay increases, monthly bonuses, and career growth. The position supports agents and other team members and develops insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists. Branch hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; branches are closed on weekends and most holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to qualify for a Property and Casualty License.
• Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or a similar customer service or sales environment.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to travel locally when necessary.
• Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional in-branch and telephone service regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other member services.
• Assist members with services such as passport photos, road-trip planning, and cashiering.
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Contribute to individual and team cross-selling goals.
• Be available during branch operating hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
