About The Position

Membership Sales & Guest Experience Specialist Scissors & Scotch is a barbershop and bar. It’s upscale but not uptight. S&S caters to clients from all walks of life looking for an amazing haircut plus that “Cheers” experience where everyone knows their name. This isn’t your typical front desk position. You’ll be the first and last impression for every guest while helping grow the business through relationship building, membership sales and outstanding hospitality.

Requirements

Be a good person; do not be a jerk.
LOVE meeting, talking to, and connecting with people.
Enjoy sales, especially when the sale saves the client money and truly makes sense.
Be able to work a computer proficiently (POS system, booking appointments, selling products).
Want to work in an upscale environment.
Desire personal growth and skill development.
Like winning and working towards goals.

Nice To Haves

Experience in membership sales.
Experience in boutique fitness (Orangetheory, Club Pilates, StretchLab, Perspire etc.).
Experience in similar membership-based businesses (Amazing Lash, European Wax Center, Massage Envy, tanning salons).
Experience in luxury hospitality or concierge.
Experience in retail sales.
Experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

Explain the membership to people consistently.
Work with a POS system, book appointments, and sell products.
