About The Position

Waves Express Car Wash is seeking outgoing, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join their team as Part-Time Membership Sales Associates (MSAs). As an MSA, you will be responsible for educating customers on the benefits of Wash Club Memberships and available wash services, actively promoting and selling these memberships while working towards sales goals. The role involves building customer relationships, providing outstanding customer experiences, answering questions, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive brand representation. Additionally, MSAs will assist with car wash operations, including guiding vehicles into the tunnel, identifying vehicles needing special attention, assisting with opening/closing procedures, monitoring chemical levels, and performing cleaning duties. Administrative tasks include operating the point-of-sale system, processing transactions, entering membership applications, updating accounts, and maintaining accurate sales records. The position requires following company policies, safety procedures, and working collaboratively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and educate them on the benefits of our Wash Club Memberships and available wash services.
• Actively promote and sell Wash Club Memberships while working toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Build relationships with customers and create a positive, welcoming experience.
• Answer questions, address concerns, and resolve customer issues professionally.
• Maintain a positive attitude and represent the Waves brand with pride.
• Keep sales lanes and work areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Remain present in the sales lanes during varying weather conditions and be prepared to stand for extended periods.
• Safely guide vehicles into the wash tunnel while checking for loose parts, antennas, bumpers, headlights, and aftermarket accessories.
• Identify vehicles that may require special attention or pre-wash preparation, including heavy dirt or dirty tires and rims.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and complete assigned checklists.
• Monitor chemical levels, refill or change chemicals, and assist with preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs as needed.
• Maintain clean vacuum areas, the tunnel, parking lot, and customer amenities.
• Empty trash, clean windows, wipe down equipment, sweep the parking lot, pressure wash designated areas, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions.
• Enter new membership applications and assist customers with account updates.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and membership information.
• Complete required hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and reports as assigned.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Work closely with site leadership and teammates to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
