About The Position

The Membership Aide greets members, parents, and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor, provides information about Club programs, and assists with membership processes. This role helps maintain a secure, clean, and organized entrance, creating a positive first impression, monitors lobby activity to prevent unauthorized access, and coordinates with program staff during member pick-up. Our Mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens.

Requirements

• Minimum of 17 years or older
• Ability to communicate and cooperate with children, other staff, and parents.
• Provide 3 references (professional if work experience exists, otherwise non-family member over 18 who can speak to character and professionalism).
• Complete a drug screen for any illegal substances.
• Complete a background check.
• Complete a fingerprint check.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Fun, energetic, and excited individual.
• Interest in pursuing a career in data entry, billing, and accounts receivable.
• Passion for building a better community.

Responsibilities

• Monitor lobby activity to prevent unauthorized access to restricted or program areas and coordinate with program staff during member pick-up.
• Assist the Membership Coordinator with accepting and processing member applications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide information on Club programs to members, parents, visitors, and respond to phone inquiries.
• Learn about programming requirements and objectives for the five core program areas.
• Greet members, parents, and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and organized entrance, creating a positive first impression.
• Help maintain the safety of our members and staff and ensure an optimal Club experience for all.
