Requirements

  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere with multiple responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong follow-through and solid organizational skills
  • Proven written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing system
  • Willingness to attend formal product trainings and acquire relevant certifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relations by communicating updates and requests, ensuring lists are sent, and that purchase orders and invoices submitted and approved on time.
  • Attend email and campaign planning and intake meetings, taking notes on any updates and required follow-up that will impact upcoming or ongoing campaigns and communications.
  • Build and send member, marketing, and donor campaign emails while adhering to the Museum of Science style guide and internal best practices.
  • Maintain email journeys, data-extensions, and Salesforce email templates.
  • Track email performance and engagement and utilize methods such as A/B testing and dynamic content to help inform future and ongoing marketing strategies.
  • Complete weekly updates on ongoing work, insights, and challenges.
