About The Position

Cobblestone Creek Country Club, located in Victor, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Membership Director! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or hospitality preferred; or a minimum of four years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management, attention to detail, and ability to self-start.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, and marketing strategies.
  • Team player with the ability to work cooperatively with other departments, committees, and boards to attain club goals.

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds stated sales, revenue, and retention goals.
  • Leads and directs the marketing, membership, and communications team and overall strategy.
  • Consistently interacts with members, prospects, coworkers, and management with a positive attitude and focus on a culture of hospitality, leadership, and mutual respect.
  • Develops and executes marketing tactics and strategies that enhance the awareness of the Cobblestone Creek Country Club brand and communicate the story and ongoing execution of the overall community membership marketing and sales plan, working collaboratively with onsite club management and the Troon corporate team.
  • Drives content development and facilitates production of all membership-related materials, including, but not limited to, prospecting, sales, and member communications; website; social media channels; membership sales kit; and documents associated with onboarding.
  • Conducts marketing activities as designated in the master marketing and sales plan, such as community networking, Realtor relations, and presence and participation in member events.
  • Seamlessly integrates with the club leadership team, Troon Corporate team, and CCCC Board and Committees; effectively reports, tracks, and communicates results and data. Implements and manages a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Membership Prospect and Sales Report, demonstrating an exceptional understanding of these tools through weekly delivery of statistics related to leads (quantity and source), prospect pipeline (sorted by rank), and sales paced by budget forecast, as well as feedback from prospects who decline to join and results specific to marketing initiatives.
  • Leads and implements a sales journey that gracefully connects potential members to CCCC and connects new members to the CCCC lifestyle.
  • Oversees all membership paperwork related to sales, upgrades, downgrades, and resignations; creates incoming new member files and ensures accurate completion of designated documentation; maintains all member files, accurately recording pertinent activity and paperwork; and ensures all files are stored in a secure location.
  • Leads the content, production and packaging, and delivery of a thorough and accurate onboarding for every new member, ensuring the process follows a structured plan with professionally presented materials, an orientation agenda that includes key department leads, and a comprehensive overview of every element of the club, how to use it, and who the individual department leads are.
  • Acts as a supportive team player who actively contributes in staff meetings and effectively communicates information that helps all associates increase their understanding of membership goals, changes to policies and procedures, and activities and processes related to member activities, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Develops and adheres to a departmental budget; after approval, monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help ensure budget goals are attained.
