Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree or comparable experience
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability to learn new programs
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational abilities and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends on an as needed basis
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to work effectively under time deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Graphic design experience or training is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Supports the essential functions of the Membership Department by promoting a strong, consistent, and successful brand presence.
  • Conduct tours of The Club for prospective Members
  • The ability to quote Membership pricing and initiation fees
  • Input member information into Jonas and prospective member information into HubSpot
  • Create and maintain membership files: confirming all documents are complete/signed, files are submitted to accounting, acceptance letters are signed by the General Manager and copies are mailed to the Member
  • Prepares monthly list of new, and resigned, members and distributes to all department heads
  • Attend member functions
  • Create and edit newsletters, weekly Monday emails, manage website and mobile app content, and work with department heads to highlight departmental operations online
  • Prepare prospective member packages for club tours
  • Monitor inventory for membership plan documents and other office materials, notifying Membership Director when additional supplies are needed
  • Assist with membership and marketing projects
  • Maintain a firm understanding of all departments and the services they offer
  • Understand all Club policies and procedures
  • Maintain a working knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Membership Director
