About The Position

Atlantic Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Solutions Specialist to support members who are past due on their accounts. Requirements

1–3 years of experience in collections, financial services, or a similar role.
Strong communication skills and sound judgment.
Ability to organize work and manage competing priorities.
Comfort working in systems and using basic reporting tools.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Comfort having difficult conversations, leading with empathy, and working with members to identify the best possible solutions.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound communications with members who are past due, including phone calls, texts, and emails.
Understand members’ situations and work through realistic, sustainable repayment options.
Manage delinquent loans, mortgages, and deposit accounts.
Ask thoughtful questions to identify the causes of delinquency and determine appropriate support for members and the company.
Handle account updates, charge-offs, recoveries, and required notices.
Maintain accurate, thorough notes on conversations and account actions.
Review reports and account activity to identify risk early and take action when needed.
Follow policies and regulatory requirements in day-to-day work.
