About The Position

We are seeking a Member Services Representative to support members and health plans through high-volume inbound calls. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare call center environment, enjoy problem-solving, and deliver empathetic, high-quality customer service. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless member experience by assisting with eligibility, referrals, authorizations, and general inquiries while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 45–50+ inbound calls per day from members and health plans
  • Accurately document all interactions to meet productivity and compliance standards
  • Assess caller needs and provide resolution or escalate when appropriate
  • Utilize internal systems and workflows to support: Eligibility and benefits verification, Referral and authorization status, Provider availability and coordination, General service inquiries
  • Update member demographics and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times
  • Complete administrative tasks (faxing, scanning, data entry, filing)
  • Deliver professional, clear, and empathetic communication in every interaction
