About The Position

Saco Valley Credit Union is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Member Services Representative to join their team. This role involves assisting with day-to-day branch operations by floating between the Saco and Waterboro branches. The position is seasonal, with expectations to work during the summer months, the busy holiday season (November and December), and other selected weeks throughout the year, including occasional Saturdays with a pay differential. The Member Representative will focus on building and maintaining relationships with members, handling transactions, resolving account issues, and providing information about the Credit Union's products and services. This role requires good judgment, strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• High level of regard for trust and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate respectfully with all personality styles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with employees, members, and other entities, developing and maintaining positive relationships.
• Strong computer and general office equipment knowledge, and willingness to learn new technology.
• Ability to deal with multiple, changing priorities and interruptions in a multi-faceted work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to organize time effectively and remain flexible to meet competing demands.
