About The Position

Provide friendly, accurate service by assisting members with routine transactions and inquiries, while also offering information on credit union products and services, to support an exceptional branch experience. Perform member transactions accurately using the CB5X system, responding to member questions, concerns, and requests for assistance in a friendly, professional, and solution-focused manner. Provide information on credit union products and services, including basic knowledge of loans, business accounts, and fiduciary accounts, actively processing member checks and maintaining a cash drawer or pod, accurately balancing funds received and disbursed throughout the workday. Process member transaction requests, such as credit card advances, money orders, and cashier's checks in accordance with credit union procedures, collaborating with internal departments to research, resolve and follow up on member issues as needed to ensure timely and accurate resolution. Provided frontline support at other branch locations, as needed, to ensure adequate staffing and service coverage, participating in CWCU-endorsed community events to support the organization's public presence, performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications
  • Welcoming personality
  • 2+ years of customer service experience (face-to-face)
  • Strong personality skills
  • Basic computer skills
