About The Position

The primary function of this position is to provide excellent member services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or its equivalent, is preferred
  • Basic member service skills
  • Minimum 3-4 years customer service experience is required
  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Computer proficiency using standard word processing and data entry skills
  • Ability to learn, process and use YMCA software programs
  • Math and calculator proficiency
  • Know and understand how to use the telephone system and voice mail
  • Filing and basic office procedures
  • Must be capable of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, program participants, and with the general public
  • Must be able to work as a team member and possess the core values that meet the YMCA mission
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children, family and YMCA staff
  • Maintain current certifications in First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation, and other department/Branch designated training, or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment
