We're seeking a PRN Member Services Representative to serve as one of the first points of contact for our members, guests, and prospective members. In this role, you'll help create exceptional experiences by providing outstanding customer service, building meaningful relationships, and connecting individuals with the programs and services that best support their wellness goals. Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service or administrative support experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn department-specific software systems
  • Ability to obtain CPR certification within ninety (90) days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Two (2) years of experience working in a fitness, recreation, wellness, or health-related environment
  • Experience with membership services, customer accounts, sales, or front desk operations

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming members, guests, and prospective members with exceptional customer service
  • Conducting personalized tours and helping individuals identify programs, services, and membership options that align with their goals
  • Promoting memberships, programs, and services by understanding and responding to the needs of each individual
  • Performing member check-in, registration, and account maintenance activities
  • Serving as a trusted resource for information regarding facility programs, services, and policies
  • Responding to member and guest questions, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Taking ownership of member concerns and following through to resolution
  • Processing payments, point-of-sale transactions, and membership-related documentation accurately
  • Supporting opening and closing procedures as assigned
  • Maintaining accurate records, data entry, account updates, and membership information
  • Managing specialty memberships, scholarship accounts, account changes, and related administrative processes
  • Maintaining proficiency with member management software and other department systems
  • Supporting a safe and welcoming environment by following established safety and emergency procedures
