The Member Services Rep is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift, maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, and staying proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app. This role ensures all proper training is completed for safe and efficient operation, conducts regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and meets Excel standards, and performs club walkarounds with associated cleaning tasks. The position involves auditing and balancing cash drawers daily, updating member information, ensuring members adhere to company policies, and providing a safe and secure environment. A key aspect is communicating with members to create a high level of service, stocking retail and janitorial items, and understanding company standards to resolve member issues. The role also includes auditing club inventory, staying up-to-date on certifications and training, participating in team meetings, and promoting the club to prospects. Additionally, the Member Services Rep assists with membership promotions, operational strategies, and ensures compliance with state and federal laws. They operate and assist members with equipment and amenities, ensuring all procedures are followed, and represent the company at community events.
