Member Services Lead
About The Position
The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Member Services Lead to join our team! The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a Member Services Lead, you will play an important role in connecting members with programs and activities that will help them achieve their goals. You will also assist people in the membership and program enrollment process and help oversee the daily functions of the facility/programs and provide leadership and guidance to other Member Engagement staff.
Requirements
- You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- Minimum of three years of leadership in customer service, sales or related environment.
- You know how to give great customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- You are a great multi-tasker and problem solver.
- You have excellent written and oral skills.
- You are comfortable with computers and office equipment.
- You are proactive and know how to get things done.
- You have a positive attitude and previous experience with diverse populations.
- Able and willing to complete Child Abuse Prevention training on first day and other online or in-person training as required.
- Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).
Responsibilities
- Assist members and guests with information about our membership programs
- Support new member enrollment
- Manage administrative, engagement and membership processes and systems
- Assist with class registration
